Releasing in June 2019, the Air Max 1 Premium 'Puerto Rico' gives the nod to New York City's Puerto Rican Day Parade. The classic runner works white, Gym Red and Racer Blue into the leather, mesh and suede upper, with inverted color blocking on the two shoes. The Puerto Rican flag is embroidered on the heel, while the inside of the tongues read 'Pa'lante' and 'Mi Gente.' Underfoot, a visible Max Air unit in the heel provides cushioning.
